This contemporary Sri Lankan caused quite a stir when it opened in Soho in 2016 – and diners still have to arrive at 6pm to secure a slot. No more: its second site, just off Bond Street, has four eight-seat private booths – and exclusive use is an option here. The decor is inspired by the tropical modernist movement, with an artful use of monochrome. Happily, the food (including those famous pancake-style hoppers) is just as good as at the Soho original.
