You don’t have to be a fan of car-racing to enjoy the events spaces at Silverstone (home to the British Grand Prix). If you are, though, we’ve got some good news. You can now nab yourself two complimentary tickets to the Grand Prix for every booking you make of the venue’s new winter packages.
The motor-racing haven has launched winter DDR packages priced at £39pp for events held in the Silverstone Wing. The offer applies for all bookings made for December and January, but be quick – you only have until the end of October to book.
The packages include all-day refreshments and lunch prepared by in-house chef Dean Hoddle. He makes use of local artisan producers, some of whom grow or make products exclusively for Silverstone.
Built on the site of a World War II Royal Air Force airfield and where the first ever British Grand Prix was held 70 years ago, the venue is steeped in history. Combined with the latest AV equipment, the event spaces at Silverstone are ace for corporate dos.
The venue also has some exciting plans in the pipeline. In spring 2019, The Silverstone Experience will launch and in 2020, a Hilton hotel will open at the site (pictured above). The Hilton Garden Inn will offer race-day hospitality experiences and it will feature a rooftop terrace with views of the circuit. The 197 rooms will also have balconies overlooking the tracks (perfect for putting up VIPs).
