There are all kinds of party bars for hire in the City of London and SquareMeal has put together a list of the very best on offer. Choose from chic wine bars and cool cocktail joints to sophisticated restaurant bars and popular chain venues for your next event.

Updated on 13 August 2018

Sometimes you need a venue just on your doorstep. It needs to be fun, easy to book and flexible to your needs. The many party bars in the City of London offer just that. On this page of squaremeal.co.uk, we’ve compiled a list of the Square Mile’s best bars for corporate hire, from stylish and sophisticated wine bars, for those with a penchant for a fine vintage or a classic cocktail, to an array of nightclub venues with a livelier atmosphere. Both sorts have VIP areas and bookable spaces for your group to party in private.

Independent speakeasies and cocktail bars are firmly back in fashion and make a marvellous event space, if you’re after some individual character. If you're after something that is more of a safe bet, then there are a host of chain venues, very well equipped for the events market. You could even take a look at a karaoke bar, if your guests really want to let their hair down.

And if it isn’t the City you’re after, check out our list of buzzing party bars in the West End.

The Fable

The Fable

52 Holborn Viaduct, Holborn, London, EC1A 2FD

One of Drake & Morgan’s earliest sites, three-floor Holborn bar The Fable is inspired by the world of fairy tales and Aesop’s fables – decorative touches such as vintage typewriters and old books set the scene. Aesop’s Table can host smaller groups for board meetings and private dinners: menus focus on locally sourced British dishes. Cocktails can be recreated by corporate groups at one of the bar’s mixology masterclasses. Exclusive use is an option.
