Historic 116 Pall Mall is among the most striking and impressive events venues in the city, bar none. This St James's mansion packs in a whopping 15 meeting rooms, as well as training suites, breakout areas, and food and drink overseen by respected British caterer Searcys.

Over a decade since hosting the London Olympics, London Stadium has become one of the city's major events venues, with a huge spectrum of spaces available to hire for all sorts of occasions. As you'd imagine, most are equipped with up-to-date AV tech and everything else you'd need to conduct a training session, so take your pick based on size and style.

This Grade II-listed Bloomsbury event space is much more blank canvas than some others on this list, making it extremely versatile. Most of the rooms are on the smaller size, but they're all equipped with all the audio-visual tech you could need for meetings and training sessions, and De Morgan House has a lovely garden for breaks. 

The Allbright is an all-female members' club but both genders are welcome to book events here. Bright decor and plenty of natural light are a signature of all the meeting rooms here, and there are various spaces suitable for large and small training sessions.

This famous performance theatre is also a highly regarded corporate events space, hosting everything from board meetings to training sessions throughout the year. A handful of smaller rooms are well-equipped for training, and in-house caterers can provide fresh food to keep you going. 

Just minutes from King's Cross, Kings Place is an ideal conference and training event space for anyone organising an event in London. Plenty of smaller spaces have all the tech you could ever need for training sessions, and there are larger auditoriums too, all generously equipped with up-to-date audio visual tech. 

As you'd expect from one of Europe's largest arts and conference venues, Barbican Conference Centre is packed with state-of-the-art AV kit and world-class facilities wherever you turn. From cinema rooms to conferencing to smaller meeting roams and auditoriums, Barbican has the perfect space for absolutely anything.

One of the world's iconic stadiums, Wembley has eight private hire rooms tucked away inside, ranging from cosy meeting rooms to the 2,000 capacity Great Hall. Most of them are suitable for training sessions, and the dedicated events team here are fantastic at helping to organise.

15Hatfields is laudable for its sustainable initiatives - all operations here are informed by the UN's Sustainable Development Goals. It still manages to be one of the best blank canvas events venues in London and it's excellent for training events, boasting world-class AV tech, HD video conferencing, webcasting and speedy WiFi. 

No.4 Hamilton Place's Edwardian good-looks are bound to impress, but when it comes to training it's actually the rather modern Bill Boeing Lecture Theatre that you should head for. With room for up to 250 individuals, air conditioning and a full suite of AV tech, it's the perfect place for seminars, lectures and training sessions.

Roehampton Venues' board rooms and suites are tailor made for training, boasting big plasma screens, up-to-date AV tech and even magnetic walls for presentations. 

The former resident of Prime Minister William Gladstone, {10-11} Carlton House Terrace is now home to The British Academy, as well as a litany of flexible event spaces. This is another fantastic choice if you want to impress, as much of the original decor has been retained.

Five meeting rooms with capacities between 25 and 70 make Kensington Conference & Events Centre an extremely reliable choice. The events team here are fantastic, and the location right by High Street Kensington station is a bonus too.

DoubleTree by Hilton Tower of London boasts a whopping 500 sqm of blank canvas event space, so you can host your training events in one of many rooms here. Most are nice and bright with lots of windows, and all are fitted with the latest AV technology and breakout rooms.

The Mandeville is well versed when it comes to training events, offering an experienced, dedicated events team and a range of spaces. The Voyager room is especially well-suited, with projector set up and AV equipment built-in.
