Full venue hire accommodates up to 200 standing, with semi-private areas available for groups of 20 to 60, while Winter Igloos are perfect for smaller groups.

The famous Hippodrome Casino hosts all sorts of exciting parties from its rooftop bar, which has room for 120 standing guests. You can get catering provided by either Heliot Steak House or Chop Chop by Four Seasons, while rooftop heaters guarantee year-round comfort. Summer parties offer barbecue menus, and semi-private sections cater to smaller groups. 

One of the largest rooftop terraces in London, we couldn’t leave Century Club out of this list. Overlooking Shaftesbury Avenue, the Main Terrace features a large bar, PA system, smoking terrace, plenty of greenery and a retractable roof. Host laid-back soirees with up to 200 standing guests, or look to the Top Terrace for smaller occasions.

This London rooftop is a little smaller, but all the better for it. You can host standing events with up to 25 guests in the Park Suite Terrace, so it’s ideal for smaller company parties. Plus, with Michelin-starred Michael Caines overseeing the menus, canapes are guaranteed to be truly showstopping.

Known for its funky private spaces, Holmes Hotel is located in the heart of Marylebone offering a contemporary spot for a more intimate event of up to 20 guests. Think foliage, fairy lights and a blanket or two in case you get chilly. Set menus or a couple of canapes are on the cards here.

While it might not be open to the elements (quite sensibly so), London's tallest event space is guaranteed to impress your guests, right from the moment they step into the private elevator and zoom up to the 58th floor of 22 Bishopsgate. Horizon 22 is exclusive hire only, for 500 guests standing, or 250 seated.

Hidden away at the top of Belgravia’s elegant Pantechnicon, you’ll find SACHI - a serene Japanese restaurant with a glorious rooftop which seats 70 guests, or 120 standing for drinks and canapes. Featuring lush greenery, signature minimalist styling, and panoramic views, it’s a favourite for receptions and drinks parties.

Whilst art’otel Battersea may be better known for its Portuguese restaurant JOIA, you’ll also find a delightful rooftop terrace at this location. Housed on the hotel's 16th floor, this rooftop bar comes complete with its own infinity pool and spanning views of the city’s Power Station with space for up to 250 guests.

Offering several events spaces for exclusive hire, it’s the Roof Garden here that’s caught our attention. A large-scale garden, here you don’t have to worry about keeping the guest list short with space for up to 320 people. Plus, there’s panoramic views allowing guests to take in the whole city.

Known for its floral ceilings and sleek dining rooms, Canopy offers the same high quality standard and attentive service that you’d expect from a hotel chain such as Hilton. The Florattica Rooftop offers views across east London and whilst this one may not be an outdoor rooftop space, it’s equally as excellent. 

This gorgeous, airy cafe in Spitalfields boasts a rather lovely bohemian terrace with room for 25 guests. Beautiful al fresco terraces for small parties are few and far between in this part of town, and the seasonal, international cooking is excellent too.  

DoubleTree’s Savage Garden is famed for its dramatic skyline views and bold design. Floor-to-ceiling glass and the 120 capacity Wildside Terrace frame iconic sights like The Shard and the Tower of London, while inventive cocktails and a retractable roof guarantee total confidence for corporate events in the City.

Ethical member’s club, The Conduit, puts the focus on sustainability and ethical hospitality, whilst also offering some swanky spaces to host your event. The rooftop terrace here highlights biodiversity from its potted plants to its vases of flowers - the perfect centrepiece for some al fresco dining.

This modern events space sits amongst some of London’s most formidable skyscrapers, boasting delightful views from its elegant rooftop terrace. The jewel in the crown of Los Mochis London City is arguably the magnificent 3000 square foot rooftop terrace, which looks out over Broadgate Circle and St Paul's Cathedral. This is the ultimate combination of outstanding Mexican-Japanese menus, elegant and inventive cocktails, and an envy-making location.

Day or night, And Then’s rooftop space is a wonderful place to be. Hire of the entire rooftop accommodates 250, complete with a DJ booth, smoking area, shuffleboard, board games, and bar. Food is taken care of by Honest Burgers and Yard Sale Pizza, while heaters and covers guarantee all-weather access.
