For a more intimate and relaxed gathering, the Boardroom and Rooftop Terrace at Vintners Hall has space for just 24. The site is known for its neoclassical style, boasting lush greenery on its cosy terrace. Perfect for gathering a few friends and watching the sunset with a drink or two. 

Another central venue for hire, the rooftop lounge and terrace at London Stock Exchange offers stunning panoramas of the city of London, creating an idyllic backdrop for your upcoming celebration or networking event. The Florattica Rooftop offers views across east London and whilst this one may not be an outdoor rooftop space, it’s equally as excellent. 

The jewel in the crown of Los Mochis London City is arguably the magnificent 3000 square foot rooftop terrace, which looks out over Broadgate Circle and St. Paul's Cathedral. This is the ultimate combination of outstanding food and ideal location. 

Known for its funky private spaces, Holmes Hotel is located in the heart of Marylebone offering a contemporary spot for a more intimate event of up to 20 guests. Think foliage, fairy lights and a blanket or two in case you get chilly. Set menus or a couple of canapes are on the cards here.

Looking for a rooftop venue in Shoreditch? Boundary’s rooftop is pretty legendary, with spectacular city vistas, lush greenery and space for up to 120 guests. This one comes with umbrellas for those sunnier evenings and heaters for when you can’t rely on British summers. 

Found on London’s Fleet Street, the International Arbitration Centre might not sound like somewhere you’d hire for your upcoming drinks reception, but don’t let the name dissuade you. An elegant rooftop terrace here comes decked out with wicker chairs and comfy cushions, with idyllic views of London’s skyline.

London's tallest event space is guaranteed to impress your guests, right from the moment they step into the private elevator and zoom up to the 58th floor of 22 Bishopsgate. Horizon 22 is exclusive hire only, for 500 guests standing, or 250 seated.

STK is known internationally for its top notch Steakhouses but this Stratford locationoffers more than just excellent cuisine. The East Terrace here can accommodate up to 60 guests, with breathtaking views that are bound to impress at any upcoming events. 

With several spaces available for hire, the Johnson Rooftop Terrace at IET offers sprawling 180 degree views across the city, from The Shard all the way to Big Ben. Cocktails, al fresco catering and space for up to 200 guests are just some of the reasons to put this one on your list.   

You can't miss the towering Stratford, which overlooks the Olympic Park. Among the many event spaces inside, there's a beautiful rooftop terrace and garden, which is ideal for more informal drinks parties and celebrations.

With multiple spaces spanning the 38th and 39th floors of Heron Tower, SUSHISAMBA is able to host everything from corporate parties to charity events, sake tastings and much more. Queen of Hoxton's huge rooftop is legendary in East London; it holds 180 for a big old party under festooned fairy lights, or 300 in summer when the whole rooftop can be deployed for maximum fun. Hire comes with the option of customisable photobooths, party packs and more.

The famous Hippodrome Casino hosts all sorts of exciting parties from it's rooftop bar, which has room for 120 guests. You can get catering provided by either Heliot Steak House or Chop Chop by four Seasons, and heating makes this usable all year round. 

This gorgeous, airy cafe in Spitalfields boasts a rather lovely bohemian terrace with room for 25 guests. Beautiful al fresco terraces for small parties are few and far between in this part of town, and the seasonal, international cooking is excellent too.
