Vagabond Carnaby is the wine bar's biggest and boldest opening to date. It sits in the heart of the city and brings together over 120 wines by the glass, beautifully designed event spaces and a setting purpose-built for festive celebrations in the midst of Soho.
Spread across two floors and accommodating up to 200 guests, Vagabond Carnaby is ideal for groups that want a Christmas party with a little more personality. Whether you're planning an office celebration, client event or end-of-year gathering, the venue offers a variety of spaces that can be hired individually or exclusively, allowing organisers to tailor the evening to suit their guest list.
The design takes inspiration directly from the world of wine. A striking bar crafted from the cooperage of a wine barrel sits at the heart of the venue, while traditional riddling racks line the staircase and a dramatic lightwell guides guests through the space. For those looking to dial up the exclusivity, a private tasting room wrapped in steel winery tanks offers a unique backdrop for festive drinks and smaller celebrations.
Of course, the real star of the show is the wine. With more than 120 wines available through Vagabond's signature self-pour machines, guests can swap predictable Christmas drinks packages for a far more interactive experience. Whether discovering a new favourite red, comparing different regions or simply enjoying a glass with colleagues, the format naturally encourages conversation and exploration throughout the evening. After all, isn't Christmas all about being merry?
The venue's flexible spaces make it suitable for parties of all sizes. The Right Wing accommodates up to 90 guests and combines high and low seating alongside easy access to the wine machines, while The Cork Room offers a more intimate setting for up to 40 standing guests. The Atrium provides a street-level space with banquette seating and views onto bustling Carnaby, perfect for smaller festive gatherings.
While a Christmas-themed menu isn't currently available to see, it will no doubt be delicious and draw on seasonal flavours and local produce across the brand's usual small plates format.
