They say wine can be a serious industry and so if you're a real vino enthusiast, you might take your passion seriously enough to incorporate it into one of life's most important days - your wedding celebration. For cool, city couples (who like a few drinks), Vagabond Carnaby is a fabulous option.
It's laid back, relaxed and doesn't play by the usual wedding day rules. If the idea of a countryside manor feels too twee for you, gathering your favourite people in the middle of London to try over 100 incredible wines might be just the thing.
Vagabond Carnaby is impressive, too. It's the brand's biggest opening to date, which means more space for hosting. It's no surprise that the team behind Vagabond are passionate about bringing people together and so, this time, they've made sure to prioritise spaces that do just that.
The aptly named Cork Room is the most intimate space and works for a gorgeously atmospheric wine tasting - if you really want to get into it on your wedding day - or alternatively, a lovely place for a smaller wedding breakfast with capacity for 30 people seated or 40 people for a drinks reception.
On the lower ground floor, there's enough space for a proper party with a capacity of 150 people. The space is flexible and works for any kind of set up, from huge dinners to drinks and dancing, with a right and left wing, as well as bar and tatsing table spaces. Finally, a whole venue takeover is the ultimate way to celebrate at Vagabond. With enough space for 200 people, across two floors, there's also a small outside space and the previously mentioned tasting room.
Catering is looked after in house and while there isn't a private dining menu readily available, you'll be able to work with the team on creating something that works for you - usually British inspired using seasonal produce.
