Located on Ganton Street in the heart of Carnaby, this is the brand's biggest Vagabond site to date, the carefree, pour-as-you-like chain of wine bars with 12 locations across the city.
Vagabond Soho spans two floors as well as a calming terrace, perfect for enjoying a glass of wine or two during the summer months. The design of the space is very much in line with the same aesthetic as its other sites, taking its cues from wine culture. The bar itself is shaped from the cooperage of a wine barrel, while the staircase is lined with riddling racks.
Vagabond’s signature self-pour machines are very much at the heart of the space, allowing guests to enjoy and experience wine in a more accessible and adventurous way. This particular site offers a staggering 120 wines by the glass, the group's largest selection yet, including local pours produced at Vagabond’s very own Urban Winery in Canada Water, the UK’s largest urban winery.
The Carnaby menu offers seasonal plates and sharing boards, to be paired alongside its impressive wine list. It's a versatile spot for everything from long lunches to post-work drinks, pre-theatre pours, date nights or catch-ups with friends.
Examples of dishes you can expect to find on the menu include Padrón peppers, Gnocco fritto and roasted tomato hummus. While small plates might be pork belly with rhubarb and apple jus, spinach and pickled rhubarb, alongside pil pil prawns with white wine and garlic on toasted baguette. For something a little more substantial, think slow cooked lamb shank with roasted cauliflower mash and cavolo nero, alongside baked Camembert with honey, garlic, walnuts and thyme.
The team does always keep space for walk-ins, although booking is recommended, especially for large groups.
