With interiors thoughtfully curated by the designer Thierry Despont, an impressive artwork collection, and a luxurious art deco design scheme, this venue lends itself incredibly well to wedding receptions and post-ceremony events - or, you can even get married here.
With several large rooms available for hire just minutes from Hyde Park and Grosvenor Square, and a short walk from Bond Street, it’s an ideal venue for photo-savvy couples keen to incorporate London’s most iconic green spaces into their wedding album. Not to mention a selection of art inside the building. The Lotos Room, for example, has various photographs of 1920s Hollywood celebrities taken by George Hurrell - should you wish to celebrate with the stars. Alternatively, the Munnings Room - the largest dining room, decorated in sparkling gold - boasts paintings by Alfred Munnings and George Stubbs.
The event rooms are not monumental, but they are spacious and make the perfect location for intimate weddings and gatherings of up to 40 guests. Plus, the Sargent and Munnings rooms can be combined for the ceremony and followed by a banquet, or celebratory drinks and dinner.
