Weddings at New St Grill can be as relaxed or as formal as you’d like them to be.
Formerly one of the East India Company’s storage spaces, New Street Grill retains much of the atmosphere and detail from its former life. Here you’ll find gorgeous, exposed stone walls, large industrial-style archways and plenty of natural light coming through from the warehouse-style windows.
With dark wooden tables, you can either embrace the dark moody vibe and go for an all-natural approach, or plump for the restaurant’s crisp white napkins for a fresh, contemporary vibe. Either way you’re able to discuss all the little details with the dedicated events team who are happy to advise on everything from flowers and candles through to place settings and menu cards.
Being a modern British Grill, you can expect to choose from a menu of hearty classics made with the best local, seasonal produce. The group menus have been designed to give couples a curated selection of the restaurant’s most popular dishes. Each course can be tweaked to your requirements, and three courses start at just £45 per person. Starters might include oysters, beef tartare or a beetroot salad. Classics for mains run from bacon and cheese burgers made with chuck steak through to Suffolk free range chicken with confit garlic mash, plus a whole range of steaks. Everything from sirloin through to fillet is an option, and guests are invited to choose from three sauces – peppercorn, red wine or béarnaise.
Located near Liverpool Street, wedding guests can begin celebrations with a Champagne and canapé reception on the 120-capacity bar terrace next door or opt to go straight for the wedding breakfast inside the New Street Grill, which caters for 70 diners.
For your celebration the dedicated in-house team will be able to assist with the running order, to make sure you get the most perfect day.
