The Museum of London
has introduced its ‘Lit’ theme for parties this summer. It’s inspired by its major exhibition, London Nights, which explores London after dark and showcases the city through a range of contemporary and historic photography.
Summer parties will be reaching rave-level illumination with colourful uplighters, neon serving trays and interactive black lights.
Packages at the Museum of London
start from £66pp and have are available for up to 200 guests. We’re especially intrigued by the choice between a two-course barbeque or a bowl food dinner, and anything with the word unlimited in front of it is a winner for us – there’ll be free-flowing prosecco or summer cocktails for the first hours, followed by wine, beer, soft drinks and bar snacks for the rest of the night.
At the Docklands site
in Canary Wharf, the theme is nautical. Celebrating the maritime history of London, decorations, menus and entertainment will all be appropriately styled. We’re also really excited about the newly constructed river-side veranda, the Muscovado Terrace, with its lush views of the skyscrapers.
The Museum of London Docklands
can host up to 400 people and also start from £66pp. In tune with the maritime theme, the drinks reception for instance has the offer of rum cocktails - yum. Other goodies include a three-hour drinks package, nibbles and the choice between canapés, bowl food or a barbeque.
Unsure what to choose menu-wise? We like the sound of the barbeque’s Angus beef burgers (say no more), while lighter canapés include prawn ceviche and bowl food features herb-crusted cod.
