Squaremeal Review of Museum of London Docklands ?

Tracing the history of London’s river, port and people from the arrival of the Romans to the rise of Canary Wharf, the Museum of London Docklands is spread over five floors of a splendid late-Georgian warehouse. The museum is Canary Wharf’s only Grade I-listed venue, built in 1802 and originally used to store goods from West India. Today, its pine columns and floors sit alongside the contemporary fittings, giving the venue a spacious and atmospheric feel. Daytime facilities include a boardroom, lecture theatre and two restored function rooms with quayside views. By night, guests can also enjoy receptions and dinners in one or more of the museum’s 11 galleries.
