Built in the early 19th century as a store for tobacco imports, Grade I-listed Tobacco Dock has been restored sympathetically and has a series of industrial-style spaces for up to 10,000 guests. Its vast undercroft contains more than 20 rooms and retains its original character, with exposed brickwork and barrel-vaulted ceilings. The Dock Gallery opened for events in 2016 and features glass doors that let in plenty of natural daylight. It includes its own catering area, making it a solid choice for events. The venue’s smaller spaces lend themselves well to meetings. Catering is done in-house – options range from street food to fine dining.
