Home of Greenwich Mean Time and a Unesco World Heritage Site, the Royal Observatory’s credentials speak for themselves. Designed by Sir Christopher Wren, the venue has a variety of spaces with river views. The Octagon Room in Flamsteed House (that’s the original observatory) can be hired for a reception or dinner. The Observatory’s team of astronomers and horologists can even be on hand to add a little context. The modern Planetarium is also available for private hire – there’s nothing like a voyage through the solar system to give guests a sense of the bigger picture. The Foyer works well for larger dining events.
