About

Tucked away on the mezzanine level of Jubilee Place, Wagamama Canary Wharf offers a fresh and energising escape in the heart of London’s financial district. Just steps from the towering skyscrapers and sleek office blocks of Bank Street, this branch is a popular choice for city workers, shoppers and visitors exploring the Docklands.

Just minutes from Canary Wharf Underground station and the Elizabeth Line, it’s perfectly positioned for a convenient meal between meetings or after a day in the city. Inside, the restaurant features communal benches and an open kitchen, creating a sociable, modern atmosphere. It’s fully accessible, with lifts, wheelchair-friendly seating, disabled toilets, induction loops, and baby facilities. Free Wi-Fi is available, and the team is happy to accommodate allergies or special requests.

The restaurant serves up Wagamama’s signature pan-Asian cuisine, inspired by the flavours of Japan and beyond. The menu is packed with vibrant dishes designed to nourish and satisfy - think steaming bowls of ramen, spicy curries, crisp gyoza and sizzling teppanyaki noodles. Favourites include the Chicken Katsu Curry, Chilli Squid, and the comforting Shirodashi Pork Ramen. There’s also a wide selection of sides, rice dishes, and refreshing salads, with gluten-free and kids’ options available too.

Drinks range from freshly pressed juices and Asian beers to sake and cocktails, all chosen to complement the bold, zesty flavours of the food. Whether you’re grabbing a quick lunch or settling in for a relaxed dinner, the menu caters to all tastes and dietary needs.

Open daily, Wagamama Canary Wharf is ideal for a midweek meal, weekend treat, or a post-meeting bite. You can also order online for click-and-collect or delivery. With its prime location and fast, feel-good food, it’s a reliable favourite in one of London’s most dynamic neighbourhoods.

I went for a catch up with some old school freinds last week and we went to Wagamama's as it seemed a safe option where you know what to expect and can take your time and chat away as because of the seemingly relaxed atmosphere. I had been recommended it a couple of years ago but had never visited so this was my Wagamama debut. The seating arrangement and decor was very informal and relaxed as I has expected…it was a shame the waiting staff could not work to the same philosophy! We were rushed to order and when a couple in our party were not ready it was greeted with a huge huff and a sigh…the poor girl! When the food arrived it was so bland. My dish of “Chilli chicken Men” had my mouth watering with it's desciption and being a keen lover of authentic Noodle dishes it had a lot to live up to. The obviously microwaved noodles were rubbery and tasteless and the un-inspring one dimensional chilli sauce did little to awake my tastebuds, in fact they were more likely to slip into a coma! The fact that the description of the dish was served with such a range of flavours including lemon grass, red onion garlic ginger and pepper seemed like it could me revised, this dish had only one flavour-chilli- and was a major dissapointment!! I go to a small authentic Noddle hut near my house in Hampton which is quick, cheap and so extrmely tasty and the service is always with a smile…I imagine this was the idea behind Wagamama when it first started but as usual as the chain grows the spirit flavour and general attention to detail is lost in the pursuit of more cash. Postive thinking…no…poitively boring…yes!
