About

Unity Diner prides itself as one of London’s biggest vegan restaurants. Founded by a group of close friends who look to make a positive impression on the world, it hopes to change the perception surrounding vegan food. Beyond just wanting to make food that’s created with love, they also want to make something that will pass this on to other organisations and create a ripple effect that will add to a positive effect on changes for animals throughout the world. It focuses on a non profit mission to contribute to a better future for animals, and directs all of its profits to animal rights work, including the goal of starting an animal sanctuary - which has since been achieved in 2020 - called surge sanctuary. There is also focus on making Unity Diner a sustainable business, with biodegradable and plastic free straws and containers. Staff uniforms are ethically made from 100% cotton using 100% vegan chemical free ink.
The food menu offers a wide range of planted based foods, from healthy options through to more indulgent plates.
For food, you can expect plenty of plant based dishes like fried corn in garlic butter and dusted in paprika, tofish bites battered and served with chips, and melty mac n tuna bites served with aioli. Aside from small plates, you can expect big plates of omni pork steaks with garlic tenderstem and sauteed kale, toasted sunflower seeds and pumpkin parmesan seeds, as well as chikken caesar salad with massaged kale, house made caesar dressing, cherry tomatoes and croutons. Unity Diner are unique in the fact it sells 3D steaks which are only available in a small select choice of restaurants - where the meat has been 3D printed and has no impact on the environmental world. It’s gained notoriety within the world for its realistic texture and taste, and being unmistakably steak-like.
