Just a 15 minute train ride into central London, Bromley is an attractive proposition for commuters. Sitting on the Kentish borders, the town has grown up in recent years and boasts some fine shopping and dining facilities. North Bromley still has its feet firmly dipped into south London but head south and a much more upmarket ambience is felt. The town centre boasts a superb shopping centre with The Glades whilst the pedestrianized High Street is packed with great restaurants and cafes. All of the usual chain restaurants are present but Bromley offers a large choice of local restaurants too, covering a variety of cuisines from around the world. Many touring West End productions hit the stage of the Churchill Theatre in Bromley, attracting many visitors to the town.
