This warehouse conversion boasts an all-day, seasonal menu of comfort food and a 200-cover terrace which overlooks West India Quay. Part of the Drake & Morgan group (which also includes The Refinery brand and The Otherist), The Sipping Room has an all-are-welcome attitude, offering seasonal cocktails, London craft beers and wines, a globetrotting food menu, all-day weekend brunch and Sunday roasts. The two-floor interior is dressed in caramel-coloured furnishings and candelabras, which sit alongside the building’s original timber and steel beams. With Pizza Pilgrims opening its largest site on the same row and Street Feast setting up Giant Robot at nearby Crossrail Place, this part of London’s docklands is getting a real shake-up.
