Surrounded by views of the Championship golf course, the Clubhouse at Rockliffe Hall offers dishes combining British ingredients and classics with American decadence. Step inside and you'll find a setting filled with British charm: checkered carpet and long windows overlooking fields of green.
There's an extensive range of menus on offer at Rockliffe Hall, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, a plant-based and a children’s menu. Golfers looking for a hearty pre- golf breakfast can sample the golfer’s bun with bacon, sausage and fried egg. Later in the day, expect to find American-inspired options like buffalo chicken wings and the Brooklyn burger, and quintessential British dishes like the beef and Theakston pie with mashed potatoes, mushy peas and gravy.
For dinner, consider pairing Clubhouse at Rockliffe Hall's freshly shucked oysters with a glass of champagne. Starters also include a North Sea crab cake, barbecue Iberico pork ribs with house coleslaw and a rich, twice baked cheese souffle. Their charcoal grill is not to be missed, offering a choice of both UK meats from North Yorkshire and worldwide producers, including a Wagyu sirloin from Japan. Vegetarians are also well catered for with dishes such as a fresh pea soup and a lentil Jalfrezi pie with chunky chips.
The Clubhouse's dessert menu doesn't disappoint. Guests can enjoy a signature coconut cake or an affogato topped with a shot of Amaretto. One might even consider branching out to the children’s menu to enjoy an all-time classic: cookie dough with a salted caramel ice cream.
Rockliffe Hall also offers weekly specials. These include live music on Saturday evenings, Sunday roasts, and even a Happy Meal special every Thursday evening, consisting of a Brooklyn Burger with a New York cheesecake, french fries and a choice of martini.
