With five restaurants spanning west London and a flagship site in the heart of Mayfair, SeaSons offers bistro-style food with a focus on high quality, nutritious and, you guessed it, seasonal ingredients. Its Bayswater restaurant is open Tuesday to Sunday and serves a Mediterranean-style menu featuring fresh fish, a selection of signature dishes and some seriously special pizzas (wait until you hear about the black truffle offering).
Its commitment to sustainability and sourcing is evident through British-sourced ingredients and responsible fishing methods as well as a constantly-changing menu every three months in line with what’s in season. Take a seat inside its warm and rustic interiors featuring tan leather seats and lots of natural light, or perch on outdoor seating at the front of the restaurant during warmer months for a limoncello or a cocktail.
Fish-haters, look away now, for the menu is largely based around the fruits of the sea! From the raw fish bar, dishes include impressive sashimi-style platters, fresh oysters and various tartare plates. While signature dishes include mushroom fettuccine, cous cous and octopus, fish parmigiana and truffle and celeriac salad. Its pizzas and burgers go above and beyond what you’d typically expect from the popular plates, with one pizza topped with shavings of black true, ricotta, mozzarella, mascarpone. Burgers include an octopus and fennel variation filled with houmous and chives, as well as a unique SeaSons prawn burger served with burrata and ground pistachios.
For dessert, discover a classic tiramisu, crème brulee and chocolate mousse with salted caramel.
Signature cocktails will transport you to sunnier climes: choose from a twist on sangria made with vodka and port, Pimm’sons featuring gin and prosecco or Mediterranean Flavours using Limoncello and peach liquor. There is also a selection of wines, with many sourced from Italy, as well as spirits, beers and aperitifs.
