Salvatore worked as a Head Chef in a 5 star hotel in Sardinia before coming to England to work as Head Chef at Joe Rigatonis in Darlington this is where he met Marina who comes from a family of restaurateurs Marina’s father opened the first Italian Restaurant in Middlesbourg in 1959 where the classics PARMO was born.
When Salvatore and Marina first met a discussion about chickens took place!!! With Salvatore’s passion and expertise in Italian cuisine and Marina’s Knowledge in the catering business these ingredients made for a hot and spicy ralationship.
