This September will see the return of Venues + Events Live, SquareMeal’s award-winning show for event organisers. Located in central London in the stunning surroundings of Old Billingsgate, this year’s show will feature five floors of unlimited event inspiration, with over 250 restaurants, venues and event suppliers waiting to meet you. Taking place on 19 and 20 September 2018, Venues + Events Live will feature a jam-packed schedule of SquareMeal Sessions and masterclasses, alongside talks from leading industry figures and household names, including renowned Guardian restaurant critic Grace Dent and cookery author and entrepreneur Ella Mills, otherwise known as Deliciously Ella.
Grace, known for her witty humour and restaurant expertise, will discuss current food trends and the UK restaurant scene. Grace has acted as the host of numerous documentaries, as well as appearing on an assortment of TV shows, so she’s well versed in engaging a crowd. This session will be very popular, so we’d recommend arriving early at this talk to avoid disappointment.
Ella will be joined by her husband Matthew, who is CEO of the Deliciously Ella brand. The pair will talk about how you can incorporate healthier eating trends into your event catering. Ella’s brand new book, Deliciously Ella The Plant-Based Cookbook: 100 simple vegan recipes to make every day delicious will also be available to buy after the session, with guests having the chance to get their books signed by Ella and have a photo with her.
