Meraki is a contemporary Greek restaurant in Fitzrovia serving Mediterranean-inspired dishes designed for sharing. Open for lunch and dinner, it provides a lively setting suited to celebratory meals and relaxed evenings with friends. The menu, which is overseen by head development chef Laszlo Toth, draws inspiration from traditional Greek cooking, focusing on seasonal ingredients and bold Mediterranean flavours. Inside, the restaurant reflects Mediterranean design influences with a vaulted ceiling, exposed beams, banquet seating, wooden floors, exposed brick walls and counter-top dining.
Diners can begin with smaller plates and dips such as taramosalata or aubergine melitzanosalata. Sharing platters bring together classic Greek staples including hummus, tzatziki, feta cheese and crispy olive oil pittas. Seafood plays an important role on the menu, with dishes such as grilled king prawns, red mullet and whole grilled sea bass prepared with simple accompaniments. Meze-style dishes including stuffed courgette flowers, grilled octopus and baby squid are designed for the table, encouraging a relaxed, communal style of dining.
Pasta dishes add a Mediterranean twist, with options such as baked orzo and lamb tagliatelle, while larger plates from the land include charcoal grilled baby chicken, beef ribeye and lamb kleftiko designed to serve two. Vegetarian options such as beluga lentil stew are also available. At lunchtime, guests can choose from the a la carte menu or opt for a set lunch offering a smaller selection of dishes inspired by the evening menu.
Desserts include cheesecake, rizogalo made with coconut rice, granola, mango, passion fruit and raspberry sorbet, and pagoto, a freshly churned yoghurt ice cream with honey and roasted pistachios designed to share. The drinks list includes wines from Greece and across Europe, alongside a dedicated cocktail menu featuring drinks such as spicy Palomas, a Greek dry martini and Rhodes in the Caribbean.
