A touch of Californian sunshine within Soho House’s new hotel and dining complex, Malibu Kitchen combines West-Coast food trends and Mediterranean ingredients. The results include superfood salads and plenty of raw dishes, alongside fresh juices and smoothies. Named after architect Edwin ‘Ned’ Lutyens (who designed it in the 1920s), The Ned used to be Midland Bank’s HQ. Reimagined as a hotel and leisure hub, this sprawling building’s ground-floor restaurants are laid out in the former banking hall, all occupying one, open-plan area.
