The Halkin Bar is the main all-day restaurant and bar at COMO The Halkin - the beautiful Georgian townhouse hotel set in Belgravia's quiet back streets. Found just off the hotel’s main lobby, this bright, airy space is perfect for light lunches and catch-ups over drinks, as well as hosting breakfast every morning.
The space is striking and modern, though it also features the arched windows and architectural details of the original Georgian townhouse it inhabits. Comfortable seating and slick surrounds make The Halkin Bar just as adept at hosting a business lunch or a client meeting as it is something more light hearted and celebratory.
COMO The Halkin’s breakfast menu covers all the bases, offering not only an excellent continental breakfast, but also an assortment of custom-curated juice blends, freshly baked pastries, cereals, yoghurt and more, all the way up to cold cuts and soft scrambled egg with caviar. For those with big appetites, full cooked breakfasts are done well too, as are sweet treats like coconut waffles, French toast and American pancake stacks.
Come lunchtime, The Halkin Bar deals in crowd-pleasers, with club sandwiches, burgers, buttermilk-fried chicken sandwiches, salads, charcuterie boards and fresh pasta dishes. Like the aforementioned juices, COMO Shambhala Kitchen also turns out health-focused dishes, including essential enzymes, vitamins and minerals, like a big raw salad, Pad thai with brown rice noodles, and steamed sea bass in hot and sour broth.
Naturally, bar staff are handy mixing up signature cocktails, including a pine-smoked Boulevardier (rye whiskey, sweet vermouth, Campari, smoked pine cone essence) and the Eldorado (saffron-infused gin, Lillet Blanc, elderflower liqueur, mandarin bitters), alongside a hefty list of beers, wines, and lots of non-alcoholic options.
