Named after the famous locomotive that once ran between London and Paris, the Golden Arrow restaurant (formerly Mirrors) caters for guests staying at the Pullman Hotel as well as travellers en route to Euston, King’s Cross or St Pancras International. A Josper grill dominates the open kitchen, but the all-purpose menu takes in everything from Spanish charcuterie plates or fish tartare with lime and capers to côte de boeuf for sharing, ballottine of salmon with spinach and herbs or risotto milanese. To finish, expect the likes of caramel pot, iced pistachio parfait or baked Alaska. A ‘wine library’ offers a good assortment of fine tipples by the glass, while a separate bar provides drinks and snacks throughout the day.
