I have to say that as soon as I walked in to Getti I was greeted with a very warm reception and the staff were incredibly friendly. The service was good also, it's just the food left a lot to be desired. I went for the seafood risotto and found it to be rather dry and bland. My friend went for the carbonara and seemed to enjoy it, but I have to say I was disappointed with my meal. It was a lunch time and not overly busy so there wasn't much of an atmosphere. I doubt I will return in a hurry.

Sadly very disappointed with this restaurant, despite it's convenient location and pleasant appearance. The food was overpriced for the ludicrously small portions… my friend and I both ordered a main course… a seafood risotto. Although it was beautifully cooked and delicious, the portions we received were amazingly small… if it had been two starters then it would have been fine… but, though both of us have a normal appetite and are not over eaters, we felt cheated, and still hungry after the meal was over. We complained to the head waiter in the most civilised and pleasant of terms, but all he could say was “well , that's the size you get. It's 150 grams each of rice” !!! We were amazed he didn't offer to bring us some more. He did offer free coffees but that wasn't really the right solution.
Later that evening we had to visit the restaurant again as we'd seen a show at Jermyn Street theatre and the cast were going, we were part of their party. I ordered garlic bread for four… and that came to £15.00!!! Ridiculous.
We will not visit this restaurant again. Such a shame. It used to be really good.
