Domo is a Sardinian restaurant, bar and deli offering all-day dining in Sheffield’s Kelham Island district. Family-run and rooted in regional Italian cooking, it brings the flavours and hospitality of Sardinia to the historic Eagle Works building, combining Mediterranean warmth with an industrial backdrop.
Founded by Sardinian-born Raffaele and Sheffield native Sarah, Domo works with fresh produce sourced from local independent retailers alongside specialist ingredients imported directly from Sardinia. The kitchen focuses on traditional recipes and bold, honest flavours, served from breakfast through to dinner. It is well suited to birthday celebrations, family meals and relaxed date nights, with outdoor seating available for alfresco dining during warmer months.
Inside, the warehouse-style space features exposed pipework, whitewashed brick walls and structural pillars, softened by dusky pink tones across the ceiling and beams. Polished concrete and wood flooring add earthy texture, while greenery along the windows and eclectic touches throughout create a welcoming, characterful atmosphere.
The menu begins with nibbles such as olives, warm house-made bread with basil pesto and smoked sardines, alongside a selection of bruschette. Starters include Sardinian herb-marinated lamb skewers, veal croquettes, beef tartare and mushroom and truffle arancini.
Sharing plates range from grilled vegetables to seafood selections featuring calamari and king prawns, as well as platters of Sardinian cured meats. Homemade pasta plays a central role, including half-tube pasta with pistachio and pecorino cream, traditional Sardinian potato dumplings filled with pecorino and mint and giant tortellini stuffed with wild boar ragu. Larger plates span octopus and Dover sole to confit duck leg and braised oxtail, while pizzas and salads broaden the offering.
