Veuve Clicquot is hosting a glamorous event series in London this month

For the fourth instalment of its 'The Widow' Series, Veuve Clicquot presents ‘Rebels’, a three-day-long artistic celebration which pays homage to Madame Clicquot, the founder of the Champagne house.

Running from 15-17 November on London’s South Bank, the event will be narrated by Tom Hingston, who has created album artwork for the Chemical Brothers, and played a hand in the creation of David Bowie videos.

‘Rebels’ will see unique collaborations across six dedicated rooms, with artists involved including renowned photographer Nick Knight, light installation artist Chris Levine, photographic and film-making duo Warren Du Preez and Nick Thornton Jones, and musicians such as Joe Goddard of the band Hot Chip.

Room One – Manifesto

A film installation celebrating the importance of spaces that enable freedom and self-expression.

Room Two - The Revolution

A room inspired by the rebellion of punk, realised through film and music.

Room Three - Gender and Identity

This room explores the subversion of identity and stereotype through a series of characters, representing Madamé Clicquot’s influence on redefining gender roles in the 1700s.

Room Four -The Sunken Cargo

A ‘sunken’ sound system which signifies the 170 year old Veuve Clicquot bottles which were recovered from a Baltic shipwreck.

Room 5 - The Comet Bar

This sensory bar celebrates the second Summer of Love and the acid house movement, an era which still inspires many creative communities today.

Room 6 - Field of Dreams (unity and celebration)

An elevated festival field, which will act as an ode to the culture of mass celebration, promoting unity and living life to the fullest.
