Following Adam Handling’s departure in May 2016, Caxton Grill has entered a new era with the appointment of Alexander Boyd (formerly Mansion House) as its executive head chef. The restaurant offers a selection of quintessentially British cuisine using fresh, local ingredients cooked on the restaurant’s Josper grill. Looking for something meaty? Try a thick and juicy steak. For something a little lighter, the delicate Dover sole or organic Scottish salmon should do the trick, while a light-bites bar menu brims with crowd-pleasers like burrata cheese and plum tartar crisp breads. Equipped with a roof garden growing fruits, vegetables and herbs for the kitchen, there’s also an evergreen courtyard to gaze upon while sipping on a crisp Côtes du Rhône.
