A family-run barbecue restaurant between King’s Cross and Euston, this is a seriously meaty affair. Grilling and smoking is the speciality, so kick off with buttermilk chicken wings or ribs, before moving on to burgers made fresh every morning, or chicken marinated in a Scotch bonnet sauce. For the really hungry, choose the pulled pork and pork ribs combo, served with decent chips and coleslaw. There are non-meat options too, including cajun tuna steak with chargrilled vegetables or a three-bean cheeseburger, but non-carnivores would probably be more comfortable elsewhere. Mind you, they could just settle for something off the huge cocktail list or a craft beer – there are certainly plenty to choose from here.
