About Carluccio's Manchester Spinningfields
This all-day dining Italian restaurant is located right in the heart of Manchester. So you can eat at Carluccio’s knowing that you’re never too far from your next bit of sightseeing in the city. With a seasonal menu that changes too, you’ll always find something new to discover at this restaurant.
On the summer menu you’ll find all the dishes you’d expect all year around such as an extensive list of pasta. Or, if you are more into your meat and fish than your pizza and pasta, the lamb gremolata with peppers is a great option, or the swordfish Muddica will definitely mix things up a little. With dishes from a range of different regions in Italy Carluccio’s gives you the chance to stray from the classic dishes and try something new.
If you feel a little spoilt for choice, the set menus are perfect as they give you a pick from a smaller range of the best dishes on offer. On the daytime set menu, go for the focaccia to start and beef ragu linguine for mains. For the evening, why not try the orecchiette verde – artichoke sauce with courgette, pesto and flaked almond or mushroom risotto.
If you decide to visit for brunch, you can find classic British brunch dishes mixed with Italian elements. For example, all the egg dishes are served on ciabatta instead of regular toast. The Italian French toast is made with Panettone and served with ricotta yoghurt and berries. If you tend to go for a lighter breakfast, the porridge or bread served with jam is for you.
Whenever you decided to pay Carluccio’s a visit, you can guarantee simple authentic food. Founded by the late celebrity chef Antonio Carluccio, the restaurants motto is ‘MOF MOF’ (minimum of fuss, maximum of flavour) and this shows from the menus on offer.
