Ultra-cool & shamelessly upmarket, this Indian restaurant facing the plaza at the heart of Brewery Wharf, is the pick of the many bars, restaurants & cafes serving this still-regenerating area of apartments & new hotels just south of the river. The 120 covers are easily accommodated in a gracious, curving white space. There are familiar dishes of madras, korma & rogan josh, but it’s well worth splashing out for the ‘specials’: chicken cooked in a paper bag with spinach & garlic puree, spiced fish with baby sorrel or a terrific starter: prawn puree consisting of spiced prawns baked inside a crisp pancake.
