Here’s the deal: book a two-hour slot online, go armed with a spirit base (from basics such as brandy to baijiu and similarly bizarre brews), and let the bartenders conjure up bespoke brilliance from their stations behind vintage roulette and blackjack wheels reminiscent of a Prohibition casino. Unlicensed to sell alcohol (but permitted to mix alcoholic drinks, in return for an entry fee of £25 pp), we reckon BYOC (‘bring your own cocktails’) is closer to the real deal than most so-called ‘speakeasies’. This basement outlet also offers solid sustenance in the shape of artisan cheese and charcuterie boards from London’s finest suppliers. With fellow guests encouraged to pool alcoholic resources, expect some very interesting results.

Robin our barman was absolutely brilliant. The most fantastic time we had and the Robin did create delicious cocktails. He explained all the ingredients, and asked if any of had allergies. Honestly, I never thought that this could be a question at a bar, but when I think of it now - I like BYOC even better. The place is a real find, we will definitely come back there.

The guys there are really friendly and welcoming. We got served up some amazing cocktails that I've never heard of or tasted before. Highly recommended for an evening out with friends. Will definetly be going back at some point.

Excellent night out, great staff, perfect setting. Pretty good value considering what you'd spend otherwise in a cocktail bar.
