Annie Jones is a Petersfield eatery of some repute, occupying a modest town-centre property with a swish garden terrace at the rear. Inventive modern British dishes emerge from chef/owner Steve Ranson’s tiny kitchen – perhaps molasses-glazed belly of pork with butternut squash purée or chicken liver parfait with truffle dressing & pickled pear. To follow there could be an assemblage of Hyde Farms organic duck with liquorice, plum & celeriac or bouillabaisse loaded with seafood, while crème bruleé with blackberry & apple or a plate of artisan cheeses might round things off. A short wine list & friendly service add to the allure of this charmingly revamped, local favourite.

i have recommended Annie's for years and have previously enjoyed the experience. Saturday lunchtime the service was appalling; staff busy gossiping among themselves and ignoring customers!!! The food when we eventually got it was good but it takes more than the food to make the experience value for money. Waiting staff need customer service training. Won't ever go back and will not recommend.
