Lincoln has a pretty spectacular cathedral, and its own castle, Lincoln Castle, which we think is pretty cool. This medieval city in the East Midlands has some really interesting history behind it – including having a Victorian prison and a copy of the Magna Carta. During the Roman era, Lincoln was known as Lindum Colonia and was developed from an Iron Age settlement nearby. Some of the must visit attractions in Lincoln include Doddington Hall & Gardens, a show at the New Theatre Royal, and a visit to Rand Farm Park, other than those we've already said, of course. The blend of historical beauty with its location upon the River Witham and the mix of quaint shops and places to eat and drink make Lincoln a great place to live or visit.
