It may be less enlightening or challenging than a trip on the Marrakech Express, but this little piece of Morocco in W4 comes adorned with mosaic-tiled tables, rich colourful hues, rugs, cushions
& candlelight. Start with harira (a traditional spiced lentil soup) or sardines stuffed with parsley, coriander & garlic. Couscous & tagines are the thing here, & they are as
aromatic & spicy as you’d expect: the house special is a heady mix of lamb, chicken & merguez sausages. Gutsy Moroccan wines & beers (Flag & Casablanca) feature on a short but
appropriate drinks list. Ideal for a romantic rendezvous & heaven-sent for groups of gossiping girls.
