About

Usain Bolt, otherwise known as the fastest man in history, has brought his Jamaican-themed, bar, restaurant and lounge concept over to London. Found a few minutes away from Liverpool Street, the space is split across two floors and includes a bar, dancefloor and club, all of which are decked out in Bolt’s sports memorabilia. The club plays host to a schedule of live DJs, while the rum bar offers over 150 rums, 100 of which hail from Jamaica.

In the restaurant area, guests can tuck in to a menu of classic Jamaican dishes, such as jerk pork served with sweet potato, fried plantain and coleslaw, and fried fish and bammy (cassava flatbread). With three existing sites in Jamaica, Bolt reportedly has plans to launch up to 15 venues around the UK, but we’ll have to wait and see if the expansion will be as rapid as the man himself.

Amazing !!!!!

I had the steamed fish, which was very tasty. My wife has the jerk platter and was very satisfied. The portions were not rationed at all. The cocktails tasted great and not just of juice. The lounge downstairs had a great atmosphere and great live DJ, the barman had great vibes. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

Great experience
I went to tracks and records Saturday with my family and the overall experience was really great! We loved the food, the music and cocktails. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We will certainly come back.

Usain would not eat here
I'm sorry but the food was not nice. Those who left a 5 star review are either not telling the truth or are people who have not grown up on Afri-Caribbean food. I went to the restaurant on 11/10/2018. The interior and decor of the place was simple, nice, clean and comfortable and there was a good vibe within it. There wasn't as much Bolt memorabilia as I had been led to believe but fair enough. Let me cut to the chase though - the food was poor. The main dishes do not come with rice. So my fish dish was literally a piece of fish swamped in vinegar. The next morning my mouth had a bitter vinegar taste in it. The jerk pork was dry with hardly any wet sauce marinade and no crispy fat bits. Again, no rice came with this main dish. It’s as if the menu was trying to go carbs free. For a £65 meal out this is comical. You receive 2 teaspoons of coleslaw with some dishes and the festivals were thin like breadsticks. For starters there are 4 small chicken wings for £7 or two unique tasting jerk chicken spring rolls. The rolls are not nice. The chicken inside the roll was a thin kebab meat. On the menu there were prices missing from certain items. For a 1-page basic menu this was inexcusable. There were no side offerings on the menu so it is likely that you will have to beg for a portion of £4 rice. Do not get excited about dessert. There are three basic choices. Again you will not see any prices. There was no ackee and saltfish, no soup, no vegetable curry, no macaroni cheese. Hard dough bread was spelt oddly on the menu. It was toast. I'm sure Usain Bolt would not tolerate this kind of quote on quote Caribbean food in real life. Jamie Oliver could have done better.
