SquareMeal Review of
The Bree Louise
The tired, Andy Capp-era decor will win no design gongs, but Bree Louise’s commitment to British real ales, perry & cider has landed this family-run, bijou corner boozer round the back of
Euston station several CAMRA awards in recent years. Those with beer bellies (or not) will appreciate a hefty contingent of 16 well-kept cask brews that might typically include representatives from
Brodie’s, Sambrook’s & Dark Star, plus almost as many fermented apple draughts on regular rotation. There’s also a strong selection of lagers & a useful range of tequilas & malt whisky
for non-believers. Food is served through the day, with a popular choice of hearty pies, pasta, chilli con carne, fish & chips, steak baguettes & a selection of fine English cheeses. The
clientele is a mixed bag, some of the office workers apparently channelling David Brent.
