Visited Luna Nuova on a weekeday evening as we were looking for somewhere new close to home. Had no expectation going in but it was a pleasant evening. The restaurant itself was quiet, only a few tables were taken and customers came and went at a steady trickle. That did mean that the atmosphere was a bit flat but it was nice depsite that. The menu had a good choice plus there were specials. Wine list also had a good selection. Food was good – reasonably simple but well executed and tasty. Exactly how Italian food should be. Staff were friendly and efficient. Very familiar with the menu and able to help with choices and recommendations. In short it is a good neighbourhood restaurant.
