Originally a pop-up, Homeslice has found a permanent home for its wood-fired pizza oven among the craft stores, rainbow cafés and natural apothecaries of Neal’s Yard. Weekend shoppers and tourists
join a young local crowd in the buzzy whitewashed dining room with its plain wooden tables and vintage industrial vibe. There's only one thing on the menu – although a changing roll call of artisan
toppings sets Homeslice apart from your average high-street pizzeria. Creative combinations include moist pork belly with zesty chimichurri and smoked onions or white anchovy with chard, Doddington
cheese and a spritz of orange zest. All come with perfectly crisp bases and delicious doughy crusts; order by the slice or get stuck into the magnificent 20-inch version, washed down with crisp
Saint lager, Prosecco or house wines delivered in measurable magnums (simply pay for what you drink). Takeaway slices, too.
Homeslice is ultimate pizza heaven for me. Their pizzas are enormous & extraordinarily thin with a doughy crust; the toppings are creative and delicious; the staff are energetic and friendly; the place has a great buzz; and it’s totally affordable. You can’t really ask for more from pizza or eating out in central London!...

This week I managed to squeeze in some time at lunch to pop into Homeslice in Neal’s Yard, Covent Garden with a colleague. Nestled just off of Seven Dials, this cosy pizzeria is an absolute must if you are in the area. Being a popular spot for the local media crowd, we did have to wait for 10 minutes on arrival but that gave us enough time to make the tricky decision on what pizza to go for from their temptingly unique and seasonal menu. Each pizza costs £20 with a recommendation of combining two varieties from the menu. The price point may seem expensive but at 20inches these beauties are enough to feed up to 3 people,...

Ah pizza. Delicious cheesy, carby goodness. Whichever side of the pineapple debate you’re on there’s always one to suit everyone. Everyone loves a slice or 10. So what if that slice came from a 20 inch pizza? Homeslice does exactly that. Tucked away in Neal’s Yard in Covent Garden, Homeslice takes a simplified approach – 20 inch pizza for £20. Sure there are a couple of pizzas you can get by the slice but who would turn down a 20 inch pizza?!

Tonight myself and a friend visited Homeslice Pizza which lives in Neal’s Yard, Covent Garden – it’s first permanent home. Originally a regular stall seen at London street markets, pizza purveyors Homeslice have followed the well established trend and set up their first bricks and mortar restaurant. We met for dinner at around 6pm, you can’t make reservations but luckily as it was a Sunday night it wasn’t jam packed. The restaurant is small, there are long benches and rows of seating as well as a individual tables. We where shown to one in the corners and served a large bottle of water with tumblers. There’s...
