ca'puccino south west london cafe

SquareMeal Review of Ca'puccino

With branches in Harrods & Westfield, it was only a matter of time before an outlet of this Italian gelateria-cum-cafeteria found its way to the fashionable King’s Road. A vintage pale-blue & yellow ice-cream cart announces the gelati in the shop’s front window: choose from the usual flavours such as pistachio, hazelnut or vanilla. Inside, freshly made ciabatta sandwiches are on display, as well as a selection of cakes & desserts with fancy Italian names – plus a full range of Italian coffees. The main seating area is in a rather airless basement, with pillars made from spiralled stacks of coloured books, & comfortable white leather chairs to sit on. There’s also plenty of pavement seating for those authentic alfresco moments.
