SquareMeal Review of Boho

There’s a quirky Brazilian feel to this compact East Dulwich drinking den, set across two floors. The rough-hewn wooden-clad bar is evocative of the Amazon, & the adobe walls are adorned with paintings of South American beauties. Classic cocktails (martinis, cosmos, mojitos) are joined by a select list of ‘Boho Originals’ including Bohemian Princess, a blend of vanilla vodka & raspberry liqueur, sweetened with cinnamon syrup & topped up with apple juice & fresh raspberries. Birra Moretti & Amstel are among the draught lagers, & bottles of Brahma reinforce the Brazilian message. The menu has been severely shortened; the only food now available is salt-beef sandwich on crusty rye bread (with lashings of mustard & pickles), followed by cupcakes: the perfect way to soak up the alcohol.
