SquareMeal Review of
Blades at Hush Mayfair
Blades at Hush is billed as “like a private members club without the membership”. The name is a nod to the private club of James Bond’s M, while the interiors celebrate the 60s via a selection of celeb portraits hanging from the walls, including Sir Roger Moore. Those looking to enjoy the glamour of a bygone era can tuck into the likes of a Dorset crab and lobster salad for starters, before moving on to mains such as a spicy Kerala chicken curry served with coconut rice, or a scallop and pork belly surf ‘n’ turf. To drink, there’s the usual run of fun cocktails and flash Champagnes, while desserts include the decadent likes of a Mars Bar cheesecake.
