Basoon Bar is permanently closed
As part of The Corinthia Hotel’s recent shakeup, which has also seen Tom Kerridge open his first London restaurant on the site, the team behind Sager + Wilde is now helping to run the hotel’s drinks business. The Bassoon Bar serves a range of cocktails created by Sager + Wilde’s bartender Marcis Dzelzainis, while the Champagne list has been curated in partnership with Michael Sager. The art deco-style plush surroundings here are vastly different from those of S+W’s original location in Bethnal Green, but an effort has been made to make the bar financially accessible for both hotel guests and walk-ins.
