Restaurateur Iqbal Wahhab London restaurant bar man suit

SquareMeal Review of Atticus

Having helped found The Cinnamon Club in Westminster and Roast in Borough Market, Iqbal Wahhab is back with a new opening, Atticus. Named after the hero in Harper Lee’s To Kill A Mockingbird, the Angel restaurant serves a menu of Southern-style US dishes including fried chicken, ribs and barbecued meats. Wahhab has also teamed up with charity Bounce Back (which offers roles in hospitality to ex-offenders) to help staff the restaurant. The cost of a dinner at Atticus is expected to be around £35 per head, and there are hopes to roll out the restaurant as a national chain if its debut is successful.
