Artistic, fashionable hotel Shepherd Mayfair offers private dining in both of its in-house restaurant and bars, with a capacity of up to 12 people. Shepherd Mayfair is a historic, boutique hotel spanning 82 rooms situated on the old Shepherd's Market. The team here welcome private dining bookings which work best for smaller groups and intimate, atmospheric gatherings.
The largest space is Fayre, a British seasonal restaurant found in the heart of the hotel, with atrium-like proportions. A high, light ceiling stretches over the dining area, trimmed with floral-inspired mural, finished in burnished autumn colours of copper and red. Across seating, plush banquettes are finished in sage green, while walls are deep burgundy. Here, small groups of 12 people can be accommodated on one long table in the restaurant, giving you a special experience.
For a smaller group still, Fayre has a sumptuous bar area which can also be booked out, perfect for coming together casually but when you know you need a pre-organised space all for yourselves. A stunning, darkly-lit bar with rich-toned features, five people can be catered for here, seated on bar stools in the heart of the action.
Finally, Teddy's is an innovative, creative concept that sees a stylish basement bar come to life, inspired by late nights and historic happenings in Paris, where movers and shakers can come together to watch the night progress. Sometimes live bands take over the space, sometimes it's all about a DJ set, but the atmosphere is always buzzy. Here, booths can be taken over for up to eight people, ideal for enjoying some small snacks from the bar menu, trying the elevated cocktails and doing some people watching, in your own private nook.
All catering is provided in house and of course, as a hotel there's plenty of opportunity to book out a room upstairs and avoid the journey home.
