Sartoria in Mayfair is a refined Italian restaurant headed up by Chef patron Francesco Mazzei, offering all-day dining as the only restaurant on Savile Row. As if this wasn’t enough, Sartoria also boasts a heated terrace, bar, cicchetti counter, two private dining rooms and a wine cellar. Private dining is an excellent way to enjoy the food at Sartoria, and the restaurant is well equipped for just that.
The private dining rooms are the perfect setting for an intimate dinner with close friends, colleagues or family. Fabric walls dampen the sound allowing for conversation without being overwhelmed. Each room can comfortably cater to up to 25 seated guests, or 35 standing. For larger events still, the rooms can be joined together to provide a combined capacity of 50 seated guests or 70 standing.
You and your guests can start off the evening with a bottle of Franciacorta Prestige, Ca del Bosco, before sitting down to enjoy the food. A typical four-course set menu features spicy tuna carpaccio with pickled Tropea onion and almonds, Burrata tortellini with ‘nduja and balsamic vinegar from Modena, home-cured black cod with liquorice and a chocolate and hazelnut ice cream bombe to finish.
The are plenty of different set menus to choose from, so there is certainly something for everyone. There is even a fully vegan three-course menu, featuring starters like aubergine croquettes with chilli jam or pumpkin ravioli, mains like a winter vegetable ragout lasagna or soft polenta, heritage beetroots, balsamic and pistachio. Vegan desserts include roasted pineapple, pomegranate sorbet and jelly or coconut pannacotta with citrus and vanilla.
