Mowgli Liverpool Water Street is one of two Mowgli sites in Liverpool, sitting just north of Liverpool City Centre. The restaurant offers private and semi-private hire, as well as full venue exclusive hire for big occasions.
Founded by Nisha Katona in 2014, Mowgli has become one of the nation’s most visible Indian casual dining destinations, with sites in towns and cities all over the UK. Liverpool Water Street was one of the first to champion Katona’s vision of homely Indian dining. This is a restaurant built around sharing meals together, making it perfect for celebratory dining occasions.
Mowgli Liverpool Water Street is an impressive sight on the inside. A tree stands proudly in the middle of the dining room, wrapped in twinkling fairy lights. Birdcage pendants hang from the ceiling, whilst slick wooden tables, floors and twisting foliage makes Mowgli’s different areas feel like magical secret gardens.
The restaurant offers both private dining and semi-private dining - the former is ideal for more intimate, secluded occasions where you want a room to yourself, whilst the latter is great if you want your own space, but still want to feel like part of the atmosphere of the room. Guests can book Mowgli’s bar space, for example, for semi-private drinks parties.
Mowgli also offers bespoke catering, but most will opt for one of the restaurant's three group menus, offered at different price points. All three are packed with a selection of Mowgli’s most iconic dishes, like yoghurt chat bombs, fenugreek kissed fries, curries and sundries, but you can upgrade with extra dishes, a welcome glass of fizz, and extra bottles of house wine or beer.
Full venue hire is also available - get in touch with the Mowgli team today to start organising your next private dinner.
