One of the most Instagrammed venues in the capital (search the ‘Madison’ hashtag if you don’t believe us), upmarket rooftop bar and restaurant Madison is famous for its views, which take in St Paul’s Cathedral and various other London landmarks. Although the terrace might get most of the attention on social media, Madison is also home to a glamorous restaurant, complete with large sloping glass windows that flood the space with natural daylight and a standalone bar turning out cocktails, glasses of Champagne and plenty more.
The a la carte at Madison is a globe-trotting and versatile affair which takes inspiration from Europe, Asia and the USA to name just a few, meaning it is well suited for group dining events where you have guests with various different likes and dislikes. The menu kicks off with starting dishes such as Wagyu beef tartare topped with a truffled egg yolk and stone bass and shrimp ceviche, before moving on to main courses of teriyaki salmon fillet or linguine primavera. You can also opt for steaks cooked on a Josper grill, while desserts such as the Oreo cheesecake make for a delicious sweet finish.
Part of the D&D London group (Coq d’Argent, German Gymnasium etc.), Madison is a multi-faceted venue which can cater to a whole host of private and corporate events, ranging from small gatherings on the terrace for after work drinks, to full-venue exclusive hire. In fact, when hired exclusively, the venue can host up to 750 guests at one time, making it one of the capital’s largest event venues. You can also benefit from the use of a dedicated event planning team, who are on hand to make sure that your group reservation or party goes off without a hitch and are able to offer their expertise on everything from the menu to live entertainment.
